Cathedral Rock is the most photographed icon in the SouthWest. This view requires wading in Oak Creek. Something I can't really recommend. The creek bed is an undulating surface of polished rock covered with a thin layer of the most slippery algae on the planet. Throw in about of foot of flowing water and you get the picture. It turns out that an extended tripod makes an okay makeshift walker but still not recommended.
